Amazing Surf (Fractal Geometries and Geographies) | "Groovamungus" original rock guitar and vocals Featuring the voice of Hayden from Synthesizer V, with all melodies, lyrics, and vocal techniques programmed in by me, which was easier than singing it, and Hayden can sing much better than I can, as long as you program him with what you want him to do and the notes to sing and how to sing them. Menger Ships | "La-La Love" | Original music and piano rock

Music: "La-La Love" is me playing all instruments and programming the vocals with Synthesizer V and the singer "Solaria." I'm tempted to redo some of her vocals on the chorus and put some of the higher parts about an octave down. I was playing with her range and I pushed her vocals up to the highest of her range, which was cool although not necessarily the correct musical choice for the song. B...

Fractal Incursions | "I Want the World (To See)" | Original blues rock singing love song Video: Made with Mandelbulber and compositing together several layers of fractal video together, audio synced with the music. Video is made with Mandelbulber, using settings by the main programmer and inventor, Krzysztof Marczak, who was testing a still scene with a tree made of a fractal and then with its foliage, leaves, and bark all textured with new "Perlin Noise" to give it a very real feel. The grass is also textured with Perlin Noise, as are the clouds. I took his still scene and changed the settings for animat...

4 Horse-Spheres of the Fractalpocalypse | J-Pop Country (Instrumental by Steve Sink) Music: “J-Pop Country” I started out with a Band in the Box template that was called “J-Pop Disco” and then all of the instruments were missing except the drums and bass line. So I filled in all the other instruments around it with my own ideas and melodies and rhythms: using Fender Bass VI and then violin, and...
"Crimson Wonder" sung by AI TAY-TAY | Fractal cubes in space

Music is an AI-generated song I created from 6 sections of "pop rock about a red fractal cube made with Mandelbulber software" from Udio, selecting various sections and then stringing them together with 90 bpm and the key of F Major. The AI voice, to my ears, sounds like a clone of Tay-Tay, but my wife (who's a fan of hers) doesn't think it sounds like her. The video is generated with Mandelbul...

So I set out to create the ultimate 70s prog rock art song (think: Yes, early Genesis, Rush, Pink Floyd, etc.), and made the song about fractals. I'm using the unholy matrimony of machine and man, Udio and I together, to make this "progressive rock psychedelic 70s song with analog keyboards and pyrotechnic guitars about fractals." Truly original and also 'surprising' design..😲😀👍 I also liked the music. Bertrand
That's funky, I especially like the Hammond organ sound; Pretty fractals too.
I love this. I am not a big fan of AI generated music videos on UA-cam. You have used it tastefully as background. We both listened and watched and loved the music too. It's a cool song. We also make similar videos. And, I have used one of the Mandelbulb 3D shapes in one of our music videos. I agree with @piguy5450, this one should have many more views.🐦
Beautiful geometric design; the whole thing can be viewed with pleasure. I also like your opening and ending credits: original. Bertrand
Nice original fractals and liked the guitar intro & playing & vocals work too.
cool intro
EDIT: cool guitar work all the way through
"It's a metaphor for life" 😔👊
The music is annoying.
Well, thanks for your opinion. Fortunately, several other commenters and fans of mine really like this piece. But I appreciate you taking the time to tell me what you thought of the music. Cheers!
I expected a zoom in.
I was expecting a single literal hard rock in the forest
I hope Fractal Tree fans will rate it 10/10
Great success regarding the graphics and all the fractals. You made a good edit with your synthesizer, and I imagine it took some work. ps: I have been playing this type of electronic instrument myself since... 1996! They have evolved incredibly! Thank you for this interesting sharing. Bertrand
Fab fractal model and flight and some nice chord changes in the music. Really like the way you mixed in the lyrics into the fractals 👍
First time adding the lyrics into the video directly. It came out better than I hoped it would. I don’t know how often I’ll do that but I thought it was cool to do at least once. I can think of other uses for animated billboards inside Mandelbulber as well. Thanks so much, Steve!
@@StephenSink It was a great idea and really worked. It was you that inspired me to check out SynthesizerV and I love it and hopefully have something to release very soon but the only issue I have is the clarity of some words, like the diction. It's mostly good and I could probably get it better with more skills/time at it but struggle on a few types of syllables, so I was thinking putting the lyrics as text on it. PS your lyrics - you haven't sold out have you!? You still have that creativity drive and you inspire so many others to do the same.
@@NepenthesSloth “I’m selling every way” doesn’t mean, necessarily, that I’ve sold out, but only that we’re selling ourselves every day in every way and that just keeps going when you get older. I’ve have to be more successful to sell out, but I’d take a NVidia sponsorship and some free cards if they wanted to. ;)
Love the mind-blowing strange ships, and the music is fun. Yes, take the high notes down a bit, make them warm.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the comment. It’s a bit shrill up there so high. This was one of my early uses of Synthesizer V and I was pushing it to see what was possible more than what was good. Thanks so much!
AI trash :(. You could have just shown the tree, you did not have to worsen the video with the AI music.
man i hate how ai can make music now, all those musicians gonna lost their jobs and be forced to do boring jobs that dosen't give any sense of fulfilment
As one of those musicians, I also wish the AI didn’t make music so easily. It’s very discouraging actually. But I could just ignore it, but the rest of the world will not so I thought I’d play with it a bit. Thanks!
This goes way too hard for no reason and it's great
the lyrics have some silly elements that come with them being ai generated ("it's a metaphor for life" stands out to me, ive noticed that ai is very prone to making everything seem of great importance) but otherwise this goes so hard
Enough foreplay, why don't you just dive in? All the good stuff about fractals is inside
AI trash or not I think you've done some fine work with that vocal, like it! Trees are pretty effective, esp if more distant, we just need Krzysztof to write some random copy/placing options to add to the grid we have atm
This sounds like AI trash
That’s because it IS AI trash! It’s a silly AI song for a silly animated fractal video about happy trees. I needed a quick silly tune and am trying out Suno on occasions for when it’s a short video to illustrate a new Mandelbulber feature; which in this case, is the new Perlin Noise. Thanks for stopping by!

Trees are some of my favorite people. Be Cool.
Inventive. I like the space in the mix. Be Cool.
One of my favorites in MB2. Try combining with Kaleidascopic IFS for much fun.
I dig it, the fractals & the tune 👏
huge fan of these lovely hypnogogic tunes and visuals. i could live in these videos forever..... awesome work
stunning!! i always thought of the psuedo kleinian as a beautiful ethereal landscape, its cool to see it pulled off so well
whats the point of having more than 2 dimensions?
Very pretty fractal, well accompanied musically! Congratulations ! 👍👍👍 Bertrand.
Thank you very much!
Takes me back to the late 70's. A good time, what I remember of it! Thanks again and Be Cool.
Glad you enjoyed it, Rick! Thanks for stopping by!
Interesting choice for bass considering all the options you have. This could be the theme for the next Interstellar Western. And your Four Horseman concept for the visuals fits right in. Got two pieces of advice, pilgrim - always drink upstream from the herd and watch the spurs in the waterbed! Be Cool.
Love the gfx!
Love this program
Another epically professional piece of music from the Sink! You seem to have got more depth on this mix too, sounds great 👍
Very nice mate. Need a voice synth for my AI`s song about Autism :D
fabulous song - you're really getting a great handle on those vocals! Sounds so good. Like the lyrics too - Mandelbrot should feature in more song lyrics, guy's a legend! 🙂
wowser - great video & wonderful music - sounds like you've got Jon Anderson to pop into your recording studio!! Love it! 🤏👍
PS - I've been off focus for a little while doing lengthy video and the mandelbulber FB page seems to have gone??
Groovey!
A bit Closer to the Edge? I particularly liked the chorus. Thanks again and Be Cool.
Yeah, that’s pretty much a clone of Yes there. Other than the huge keyboard solo that’s missing. But that voice and the writing is definitely Yes! Thanks, Rick!
Although it’s also Rush, and Geddy Lee, now that I think of it.
@@StephenSink - To be truthful, I could never tell Jon's voice from Geddy's! Not a bad thing, I like them both. Be Cool.
Man, this just feels like a leap forward lyrically and I just love that groove - lazy and driving at the same time. Peter Gabriel oughta hear this. You gotta be feeling good about the momentum you're building from day to day. Odd meter and horns at the end caught my ear also. Good job. Be Cool.
What a fun vibe! Be Cool.
Cool voicings and a tasteful use of background vocals. Thanks again and Be Cool.
Man, I love that lazy groove. That wah-wah guitar coulda come from Memphis. I noticed your drums getting heavier when the guitar did - better make sure somebody don't try to steal your drummer! You get an amazing amount of mojo considering all the electronical shit you got going on. Thanks again and Be Cool.
How much time does one of these take?
Well, I've got several graphics cards working on these, including 6 2070s, a 3080TI, and a 3090Ti, and then a few different CPUs as well. Typically, I can do a five-minute video of 24 or 30 fps in about a day, or maybe 2 days at the very most.
@@StephenSink wow, then a real work of art! It’s often hard to see just how impressive something is in art unless you’ve dabbled in that respective field of art yourself.
Really interesting graphics on this one. And somehow the music fits right in. You could go a lot of different directions as far as theme. I'm certain that whatever you choose is gonna be just right. Thanks again and Be Cool.
Thank you very much! I had a long long comment about country music and accidentally hit cancel instead of reply. Darn it! I was talking about how much I love the baritone guitar, which I literally didn't realize that existed in rock music and now I find out the Beatles and lots of other groups used it all the time. And that I love Willie Nelson but hate "pop" country music as a genre. Expect to hear a lot more baritone guitar, because I love it. Oh, I had a long paragraph about using fiddle for the first time, although I've used string groups many times and classical violin. Scott Kerr of SINKERR of course plays amazing violin, and we've done 2 or 3 tunes together with violin, but I've never used country "fiddle" before, which is really just a violin without vibrato and with blues licks, as I hear/see/understand it. I'll definitely be using fiddle again, and the vocal melodies (which you haven't heard yet because I'm writing lyrics) actually were taken directly from the lines I made for the fiddle. So that will come soon. Darn it, I guess I should write these replies in a word file in case I mess it up, and that other reply that I killed was a great set of paragraphs about country music. Ah, fat fingers! Thanks as always, Rick!
